WILLARD BED FRAME //cherry // in-stock
WILLARD BED FRAME //cherry // in-stock
Queen size with standard 42” headboard in stock! The bed pictured is the exact one you’ll get!
This heirloom quality bed frame is constructed from the solid cherry, using mortise and tenon joinery making for an exceptionally sturdy piece of furniture built to last a lifetime. Best in class Festool knockdown joinery on the side rails makes for easy assembly and disassembly. Subtle, timeless details adorn this bed, including tapered legs and a slightly angled headboard for comfort while sitting up in bed. Platform-style slats support the mattress on this frame that is designed for use without a box spring.
It’s sealed with durable, penetrating hard wax oils used in the flooring industry, that leave a natural feel and low sheen, remarkably resistant to scuffs and liquids for a non-plasticky finish derived solely from plant-based oils & waxes. It’s easy to refresh with maintenance products, and simple to spot repair with age, needing no special skills or tools to apply. The slat structure is left raw and unsealed.
Please note, this particular in-stock version has plywood slats
~ Dimensions ~
Queen - 84.5"d x 63"w x 42"h
All sizes have 10.5 inches of storage height or sweeping space beneath. Twin, full, and queen sizes have a 5th foot in the center, with a 6th added to the king sizes for additional support. The height to the top of the slats is 12.25” tall. To determine how high your mattress will sit, add that 12.25” to the thickness of your mattress. Any mattress over a 9” thick will have no gap between it and the bottom of the headboard. The mattress nestles 3-3/4” into the side rails, and the entire frame allows about 1/8” wiggle room on all sides, to accept your mattress and bedding. Dimensions below note the overall footprint of the bed.
